Terrance Dixon Bio
Terrance received his B.S from Virginia Commonwealth University in Mass Communications concentrating in Broadcast journalism. He currently works at WWBT-TV in Richmond, VA where his skill set has evolved from photojournalist to TV/Digital multimedia journalist. During his career, Terrance has been nominated for an Emmy twice along with winning second place for the 2019 Virginia Associated Press “Online Journalist Award.”
Over the years, he has interviewed several influential people such as Hall of Famer Ralph Sampson, Al Sharpton, and former WNBA player Jessie Hicks.
Prior to graduating, Terrance had the pleasure of anchoring and reporting throughout the greater Richmond area for WCVW-PBS. He also interned at isportsweb.com covering the Washington Redskins and for Radio One where he had the pleasure of working with Hot 97 TT Torrez (formerly at Radio One) breaking the VIRAL Dj Khaled “fake proposal” to Nicki Minaj story.

With him being a product of the digital media generation, Terrance believes in being a jack of all trades. He’s created several media outlets such as his podcast “In The Mix” and his YouTube Channel. The shows main objectives are to keep people updated with the latest gossip, tea, sports, and trendy news. Terrance has a huge passion for sports and entertainment news. He has a proven track record of having things go viral!
Along with being a journalist, Terrance’s believes in giving back to his community. As a child he grew up in Mathews County, VA the second smallest county in Virginia so he knows the importance of giving back. Terrance volunteers as much as possible.doing career days, public speaking, and workshops.
Aside from that, Terrance models (yes you read that right) lol. He is indeed a jack of all trades. For over a year now, he’s worked as a print/runway model; published in Hopewell Times, done multiple fashion shows and was selected for New York Fashion Week.
